Holding on to God’s Promises
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23 (NIV).
Meetings with fellow believers help reinforce our hope in God’s promises. Through Bible teaching and fellowship, we are reminded of His faithfulness and encouraged to cling to His promises amidst life’s challenges.
What promises of God have been particularly encouraging to you during times of doubt or difficulty?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for Your promises that sustain us through life’s trials. As we meet with others, may we be strengthened in our hope and reminded of Your faithfulness. Help us to hold firmly to Your Word. In Jesus name, Amen
Hebrews 10:22-25 NIV
[22] let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. [24] And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, [25] not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
